Michael Blomgren is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders at the University of Utah. He is also the Executive Director of the University of Utah Intensive Stuttering Clinic. He completed his B.Sc. in Psychology and Linguistics (University of Victoria), his M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology (University of Hawaii), and his Ph.D. in Communication Science (University of Connecticut). Dr. Blomgren’s research interests focus on two broad areas: (1) evaluating speech motor control in stuttering and nonstuttering speakers and (2) evaluating treatment outcomes of stuttering therapy.
